Counseling Services

We are offering telehealth (video/phone) sessions as well as in-person sessions.

Community Counseling Services is a training clinic operated by California Lutheran University. We provide affordable counseling to individuals, families, children, adolescents, and couples. Weekly therapy services are provided in both English and Spanish to people of all ages. Fees are set through a sliding scale.

Our clinicians are either Masters or Doctoral level students working on completing their supervised counseling hours in order to become licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) or licensed Clinical Psychologists respectively. The Masters level students are enrolled in our Counseling Psychology program with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and the Doctoral level students are enrolled in our PsyD program.

The trainees and associates are closely supervised by licensed Psychologists, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists who have years of experience working in the community. Our licensed clinical supervisors provide intensive oversight to all therapy cases, which enables our trainees and interns to provide the highest quality therapy services for our clients. All therapy sessions are digitally recorded for training purposes.
